Higher data throughput in GSM-R networks with EDGE functionality

The brand-new data terminal TRM-3Tedge supports data transfer rates of up to 236 Kbps in GSM-R as well as GSM networks, if they are designed for this purpose.

The terminal TRM-3Tedge is already used successfully in Lithuania. The TRM-3Tedge supports the EDGE Class 10 and operates in the frequency bands GSM-R, EGSM900 and GSM1800/1900. The data terminal also enables the use of voice communication in the above frequencies and is compatible with the interfaces of the well-known CSD/GPRS terminal TRM-3T.
