Triorail Bahnfunk 2-Watt GSM-R transceiver modules form the basis of many rail data and voice communication solutions. The different solutions are used on board of railway vehicles, along railroad lines and in stations. These small modules are being used in GSM-R phones, shunting handhelds, mobile computing, emergency phones, radio dispatchers, train status monitoring, remote control, passenger information, point heating, level crossing, track release equipment, routers and repeaters. ERMTS, MORANE, EIRENE and ASCI features are supported to realize this wide range of applications. The TRM-6 module, our data transmission specialist, provides EDGE, GPRS and CSD functionality for Data only applications.

Triorail Bahnfunk 8 Watt GSM-R modules are designed for voice and data services and are in accordance with the EIRENE and MORANE specification requirements. The modules TRC-5RMe ext H und TRC-5AP2e ext J3 are suitable for voice and data applications as eg. CAB radios. The module TRC-6RM is ideally suitable for GPRS/EDGE data applications as eg. ETCS/EDOR implementations. Progressive and innovative product development efforts have resulted in a tremendously compact design. Triorail ETCS Data only Radio (EDOR) modules are designed for data services and are an integral part of the ETCS applications of European railways, the European Train Control System for monitoring and controlling trains. The TRE-6RM module is ideally suited for EDOR implementations utilising EDGE / GPRS / CSD data applications within GSM-R radio networks. Triorail Bahnfunk GSM-R Terminals provide RS232 and/or USB interfaces and allow fast implantation into customer specific applications in a PC environment.

Our Test Tools provide various monitoring and testing features for GSM networks in conjunction with a computer as Triotrace Test System or altogether mobile with a Triotrace Test Monitor. The PC-Tools are software applications to analyze the measured network values.
